Bruno de Carvalho visits Minho Sporting Supporters' Club
As part of Sporting's trip north this Saturday, president Bruno de Carvalho made his usual stop at the local Supporters' Clubs, this time being hosted in the Minho Sporting Supporters' Club in Braga by more than 350 fans. The lunch marked on of the first times that the Alvalade chief has touched on the issue of the club elections in March 2017.
"I came to the club to put my heart and soul into my job, but I am not alone. I have done it with the rest of the board, staff, athletes and fans who have always supported us. The big difference is that we are all in symphony, finally. The elections don't matter, what matters is that we win football titles", said Bruno de Carvalho.
Also at the event was Sporting athlete Sara Moreira, receiving a tribute after a brilliant season that culminated in a European Champions Club Cup win. "I always dreamt of representing Sporting. The club has always had the best athletes and I always wanted to be one of them. I wasn't born a big fan, but I certainly am now."
