The Sporting CP forward Bryan Ruiz is in the running for the CONCACAF Player of the Year Award, after having been selected in the Federation's top XI.
Bryan Ruiz faces opposition for the award from Hirving Lozano (Pachuca/Mexico), Keylor Navas (Real Madrid/ Costa Rica), Christian Bolaños (Vancouver/Costa Rica), Chicharito Hernández (Bayer Leverkusen/Mexico), Christian Pulisic (Borussia Dortmund/United States), Rubens Sambueza (América/Mexico), Romell Quioto (Olímpia/Honduras), Wes Morgan (Leicester/Jamaica) and Clint Dempsey (Seattle/United States).
Joel Campbell is also in the running for silverware, having been shortlisted for goal of the year after his strike against the United States.
