Sporting Clube de Portugal are 2020/2021 Liga NOS Champions, thanks to their 1-0 win against Boavista on Matchday 32. It is the club’s 23rd national title in their history, their first in 19 years, and comes at the end of a season in which they have thus far gone unbeaten in league action.

 

The team currently have an incredible 82 points, 8 more than their nearest rivals, with two games still to play.

 

Sporting CP took the top spot in Liga NOS on Matchday 6, and never vacated the position, reaching 25 wins and 7 draws.

 

Along the way, Rúben Amorim’s side achieved the highest points tally in a first half of a campaign for Sporting CP since the introduction of three points for a win, and have set a new club record of 32 top flight games unbeaten.
