Alvalade swimmer wins Flanders Cup race with new record
João Vital made history in the Flanders Cup this afternoon, beating the national junior 400m medley record with a time of 4:25.52 and in the process statching the title set in 2010 from Alexis Santos (4:26.40, in Coimbra). The time was enough for Vital to win goal, ahead of the Brit Tristan Slater (4:25.94).
