Teófilo Gutiérrez loan to CA Rosário Central

Sporting Clube de Portugal - Futebol, SAD has reached an agreement with CA Rosário Central for the loan of the player Teófilo Gutiérrez until the end of the current season, with no option for a permanent transfer.

Teo Gutiérrez on Sporting's season before heading to Colombia

Teo Gutiérrez headed for his native Colombia this Saturday for some well earned holidays. Before boarding, the striker reflected on the season.

"We had a good season. The technical teach did an incredible job and we played some really good football. We won a title, we finished in second in the league and we are in the Champions League, which is all positive. Obviously we wanted to win more titles, but football can be like that sometimes. We have to keep working away to keep Sporting where the club belongs", said the Colombian striker.

Teo Gutiérrez's reaction after win against Marítimo

Teo Gutiérrez continued with his rich streak of scoring form this weekend, this time with Sporting's opener against Marítimo after having already netted twice against both Arouca and Belenenses.

“Thankfully we got another win, which was important to keep us in the fight. We have our objectives and we have five more finals to play. We know that we aren't in first, but we will keep putting the work in. We are a team that goes for the win, no matter where we play", said the Colombian striker, going on to comment on his current form: "Thanks to my teammates and the coaching staff things are going well. Sporting is always under a lot of pressure, but the work we have been doing gives us confidence and you can see that on the pitch. I will carry on doing my best to help the team and the fans getting behind us has been really important. We know what we have to do until the end of the season."

Teo Gutiérrez scores two against Arouca in 5-1 win

Teo Gutiérrez spoke with the press this Saturday after bagging two goals against Arouca, on Liga NOS matchday 27.

“We are feeling confident and we want to do our job. We are a team and we want to play the best football we possibly can", opened the Colombian, adding a work on his current form: "I am calm. My teammates and the coaches help me and that is showing on the pitch. There are seven matches left and we have to carry on. Everyone is fighting to win points and it is down to us to do our job."
