The squad train ahead of their Friday night fixture

Sporting Clube de Portugal held a training session at the Academia Cristiano Ronaldo in Alcochete this Wednesday.

The squad continued their preparations for their return to Liga Portugal action, scheduled for Friday at 8:15 pm away to FC Arouca.

Although some of the players who were on national team duty have already returned, coach Rúben Amorim once again called up several youngsters from the academy to train: Rafael Besugo, Luís Gomes, Bruno Ramos, Kauã Oliveira, Miguel Alves, Lucas Anjos, José Silva, Denilson Santos, Diogo Clara and Guilherme Pires.

The Thursday press conference to preview the match will start at 12:30 pm on Thursday.
