League season opener draws closer for Sporting CP

Sporting Clube de Portugal continue to prepare for their 2021/22 season opener in the Liga Portugal BWIN, scheduled for Friday (8:15pm local time) at the Estádio José Alvalade, against FC Vizela.

Two days before the kick-off of the league campaign, in a Wednesday morning training session, Rúben Amorim had all of his players available besides Nuno Mendes -out with a sprained left ankle- and Pedro Porro, who trained separately but is back to work on the pitch.

The team will have a behind-closed-doors session on Thursday at 10:00am, before Amorim gives a press conference at 6:30pm at the Auditorio Artur Agostinho at the Estádio José Alvalade.
